When we create space with intention, something deep and lasting can begin. The Medicine Walk is a full-day San Pedro gathering held in nature in the Paarl area, about an hour from Cape Town. The exact location is shared upon booking.
Together, we will
- Commune with the sacred San Pedro medicine for our highest good and highest self
- Gather around the fire for integration and reflection
- Be guided by light, love and support
This gathering is open to everyone — whether you have experienced the medicine before or not. We share with love, respect and integrity.
Our path for the day
- San Pedro — the wise grandfather medicine
- Silent hike — deep listening to nature
- Medicine songs — live music and icaros
- Nature communion and movement
- Fire integration — sharing and reflection
- Sacred [Hapé](/services/hape/)
- Community food and nourishment
The day typically runs from 9 am to 5 pm.
Facilitated by
- Minjay — facilitator of plant medicine ceremonies, guiding souls through sacred ritual and medicine music
- Ylinel (@melodicmoonrise) — sound alchemist and facilitator of holistic ceremonies using sound, voice and plant allies
- Angie (@themysticalshaman0) — joyful wellness facilitator, motivational speaker and intuitive channeller
Preparing for San Pedro
A light and clean dieta is recommended to help the body stay grounded and receptive. For the 3–4 days leading up, avoid:
- Alcohol and recreational drugs
- Red meat
- Spicy foods
- Excess salt and sugar
- Caffeine
- Processed foods
Instead, focus on simple, nourishing meals: fresh fruit, vegetables, rice and oats, light soups and plenty of water. Eat your final meal at least 3–4 hours before the hike, keeping it small and easy to digest — fasting helps reduce nausea and allows the medicine to work more gently.
Energy exchange
R800 — this offering supports the full-day experience, including medicine, guidance and communal food.
